Lawrence Goldstone

Lawrence Goldstone (geb. 1947) ist Journalist, Wissenschafts-Historiker und Romanautor. Als Forscher arbeitet er oft mit seiner Gattin Nancy zusammen; ihr Spezialgebiet ist die US-Geschichte des 19. Jahrhunderts. 1992 veröffentlichte Goldstone einen ersten Roman, in dem er bereits Historie und Krimi miteinander mischte. »Off-Line«, sein zweiter Roman, erzählt eine Detektivgeschichte im Jahre 2020.

Erst mit »Anatomie der Täuschung«, seinem dritten Werk, wurde Goldstone von der breiten Literaturkritik wahrgenommen. Entstanden zehn Jahre nach dem zweiten Roman, vermochte der Autor eine Geschichte zu erzählen, die das Interesse einer zahlenstarken Leserschaft fand. Lawrence Goldstone, der in Westport, US-Staat Connecticut, lebt und arbeitet, schreibt weiterhin Romane und Sachbücher.
